Who we are?

Valuation advice you can put your name to

Super Valuations is the home of proven, professional and independent property valuation advice. Our Registered Valuers have been valuing property across New South Wales since 1984 — from a single suburban cottage through to due diligence on some of the largest property transactions in Australia.

Clients come to us when a number has to hold up: in front of a judge, the Australian Taxation Office, Revenue NSW, an acquiring authority or the other side of a negotiation. That is why every report we prepare is properly researched, clearly reasoned and written in plain English.

We are genuinely independent. We have no affiliation with maintenance companies and no work practices that rely on referrals, so the advice you receive is ours alone — much like an independent auditor.

FAQs

Property valuation questions, answered

Straight answers about independent valuations in Sydney and NSW.

What does an independent property valuer do?

An independent valuer gives an objective, expert opinion of a property’s market value for a specific purpose, such as a court case, tax return, estate or acquisition claim. At Super Valuations we have no affiliation with maintenance companies and no work practices that rely on referrals, so our only interest is getting the value right.

When do I need a formal valuation rather than an agent’s appraisal?

A formal valuation is usually needed whenever the figure has to stand up to scrutiny, for example for stamp duty, capital gains tax or GST margin scheme purposes, probate and estates, compulsory acquisition compensation, or evidence in a court or tribunal. An agent’s appraisal is a sales estimate, not an expert valuation report.

Can your valuers give expert evidence in court?

Yes. Our valuers have decades of experience presenting expert valuation evidence in both the Federal and State Court systems, including compulsory acquisition, easement and strata matters.

Which areas do you cover?

We are based in Carlingford and value property across Sydney and throughout New South Wales, from single suburban homes to large commercial and strata properties.

How do I arrange a valuation?

Call 0418 259 750 (8 am to 8 pm, seven days) or email Wal@biv.com.au with the property address and the purpose of the valuation. We will confirm the scope and fee before any work begins.
